A community wide festival will take place at multiple locations around Elizabethtown this Saturday. While headlined by a downtown concert featuring Craig Morgan, there are a plethora of options for people of any interests.
Events include the Elizabethtown Women’s Club’s breakfast located at Pritchard Community Center – then head over to Freeman Lake Park and try your hand with the Ron Thomas Memorial Fishing Tournament (proceeds donated to Crusade for Children) for adults, and a kid’s Fishing Derby for children, plus a Fun 5K Run/Walk event at the Elizabethtown Nature Park.
Then the fun moves downtown, as hundreds of craft and vendor booths will line West Dixie Avenue & Mulberry Streets, plus there will be a free petting zoo and kid’s zone. There’s plenty of other activities to celebrate the arrival of fall, but the night concludes with a concert headlined by country star Craig Morgan, with support from Big Black Cadillac & local country touring and recording artist JD Shelburne.
